United Way of South Mississippi will host an informational meeting on December 17 in the Knight Nonprofit Center for all local nonprofit agencies seeking United Way funds in the 2010 funding cycle.

Representatives from each agency are welcome to attend and learn about important changes to the United Way funding cycle for 2010, as well as the key issues that United Way plans to address within the three priority areas; affordable housing, education, and healthy families. This is also a chance to get to know the staff and learn about other services that United Way offers; 211, Volunteer Gulf Coast, and signature days of service. This is an open meeting and all agency representatives are welcome to attend.

The United Way Agency Meeting will be held in the banquet hall of the Knight Nonprofit Center in Gulfport from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on the December 17, 2009.
